Job Opportunity: Purchase Ledger ClerkLocation: LiverpoolSalary £25000 - £30000Main Responsibilities:Processing InvoicesMatch, batch, and code invoices.Check invoices against purchase orders and delivery notes.Ensure correct VAT treatment.Reconciling Supplier StatementsRegularly reconcile supplier accounts to make sure everything matches.Chase missing invoices or resolve any discrepancies.Payment RunsPrepare and process weekly/monthly payment runs.Set up BACS, CHAPS, or cheque payments.Dealing with Supplier QueriesHandle calls/emails from suppliers regarding payments or missing invoices.Resolve disputes promptly and professionally.Maintaining Accurate RecordsUpdate and maintain the purchase ledger.Keep all financial documents organised for audits.Supporting Month-End/Year-EndAssist in closing the purchase ledger for reporting periods.Help with accruals or analysis of aged creditors.
