We offer innovative and sustainable solutions across the whole building envelope for new build, renovation projects and across the building industry.As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (known as a Mechanical Fitter internally), you will be part of an in house engineering team that keeps production running safely and reliably. You will work hands on with plant and equipment, supporting planned maintenance and responding to breakdowns to help maintain consistent output and quality.Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults on production equipmentSupporting fabrication and welding tasks where requiredYour work will help us deliver reliable production of high quality bricks for building/construction customers across the UK, supporting the performance and resilience of our operations.There are opportunities to build your skills, learn from experienced colleagues and develop your career within our wider engineering community.Free parking is available.Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, SaturdayWeek 2: Sunday, Wednesday, ThursdayMechanical engineering background with good experience in manufacturing environmentsLevel 3 qualification in a mechanical engineering disciplineExperience in heavy manufacturing industryArc and MIG welding or basic fabrication skillsExperience with electrical control systemsWeekly paidAverage annual salary is £44,425 (inclusive of allowances and bonuses)Overtime is available to increase earning potentialSupport is there when you need it through our employee assistance and wellbeing programmes.
