At its core, the role of Planner is about understanding people's behaviour and beliefs in order to define brands' problems and objectives with the aim of providing our clients with a competitive advantage in the market.
You're curious, creative and commercially aware, always thinking one step ahead and asking why. You're comfortable presenting your thinking and can hold your own in workshops and creative reviews. Conducting and cascading as appropriate relevant research to understand or deepen knowledge on markets, competitive environments and target audiences of our clients' brands.
Conducting market research and supporting Lead Planners with developing research briefs, observing research, and conducting analysis/developing research findings into actionable next steps.
Strategic development through boiling down information, insights, and research findings into a brand/comms strategy that is simple yet powerful, and aligned with what the clients' brands really need.
Support end-to-end projects from unpicking the brief through to workshop moderation, strategic development, analytics and reporting.
Championing consistency of use of processes across all parts of the agency to ensure a collective understanding of the tools and processes used with the strategy planning process.
Support wider agency strategy through every day work, to effectively build client brands, create business opportunities and support business growth.

Attend and contribute to strategically and creative-led meetings both internally and with clients, proactively offering appropriate challenge to improve the brief.
Teamwork and Creative
Support writing creative briefs with Planning and Creative teams, and briefing Creative teams in an informative and inspirational way.
Support appraising creative work based on suitability of idea, strategic realisation, and resonance with customer.
Demonstrate through attitude and every day actions a support for a culture of diversity and inclusion; Contribute to a culture of personal growth and high performance through strong collaboration, knowledge sharing and mentoring.
Bachelor's degree in any discipline
Equivalent experience in brand communications agencies in scientific/medical roles, working with the Strategy team (directly or indirectly)
A genuine passion and interest in people, communications strategy and the creative industry
Resourceful problem solver with a creative flair
