Who You Are:
As an Analytics Engineer II at Curaleaf, you’ll play a vital role in shaping how we use data to drive smarter decisions across the business. You’ll be part of a collaborative, innovative Data Team that’s focused on building scalable solutions in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
What You’ll Do:
You’ll build and maintain scalable data pipelines using tools like dbt, SQL, and Python to ingest, clean, and organize data from various sources, creating trusted datasets for reporting and analysis. You'll drive the development of our analytics platforms, setting standards and ensuring data is accessible and reliable for leadership, analysts, and business teams. Collaborating with data engineers, BI developers, and stakeholders, you’ll turn business needs into optimized data solutions. You’ll improve data quality through better collection, documentation, and validation practices, while using Git and CI/CD for version control and reproducibility. You'll also focus on optimizing query performance and data transformations to enhance speed and cost-efficiency, all while staying current on trends in analytics and modern data stack technologies.
What You’ll Bring:

  • 3–5 years of experience in a data analytics or data engineering role, with a strong understanding of data workflows and best practices
  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience with dbt, SQLMesh, or similar SQL-first transformation frameworks
  • Proficiency in writing SQL, Python, R, or other languages commonly used for data analysis and engineering (3–5 years preferred)
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field—or equivalent practical experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in SQL, dbt, Python, and/or R, with the ability to deliver solutions that balance best practices, scalability, and automation—while meeting data consumers where they are
  • Experience working with big data technologies and cloud platforms; familiarity with Snowflake is a plus
  • Comfortable with version control tools, especially Git
  • A collaborative mindset with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Your team-oriented mindset and self-motivation drive results both collaboratively and independently
