Then join Badby Park as an Assistant Psychologist (Maternity Cover) where you will have the opportunity to work with a dedicated team to make a real difference in lives of some of the most vulnerable people in society.You will be working in a service that helps support and rehabilitate those with neurological conditions, alongside addressing conditions like depression, self harm, physical health concerns, and psychological distress including trauma.As an Assistant Psychologist you will have the opportunity to assist with assessments, formulations, and treatment to our service users, under the supervision of the Senior Psychologist. You will also assist in clinically related administration including conduct of audits, collection of statistics, development of audit and/or research projects, teaching, and project work.Your professional growth is important, which is why there are numerous career development opportunities to keep you learning and improving.As an Assistant Psychologist you will be:Facilitating psychological interventions on a 1:1 and/or group basis to service users, monitoring and reporting upon their effectivenessAssisting in designing and delivering specialist training to othersMaintaining clinical databasesWriting reports for various audiencesA minimum of an upper second-class honours degree in Psychology conferring eligibility for Graduate Membership of the British Psychological Society (BPS)Experience of working as an Assistant Psychologist in a forensic and/or mental health setting in a similar roleExperience of maintaining office systems and undertaking administration tasksCreative thinking, clinical efficacy, and a strong commitment to working with evidenced based models of therapeutic interventionTo meet professional practice expectations including the HCPC standards of conduct, performance and ethics, and the BPS code of ethics and conductYou will be working alongside the clinical teams at Badby Park to care for people with neurological illnesses, acquired brain and spinal cord injuries, where you will deliver person-centred care where each individual is at the heart of everything you do.This specialist inpatient neurological rehabilitation and complex care service which boasts extensive facilities that cater for specific needs of the residents that is set in acres of stunning countryside on the outskirts of Daventry.Badby Park is a grand manor house steeped in history with stunning views, excellent facilities and a tranquil setting.
