Driver's Mate

Connect Appointments is recruiting Driver's Mates for ad hoc temporary work with an established delivery business based in Inverness.

Please Note: This is ad hoc work with no guaranteed hours. Candidates must be fully flexible and available at short notice.

What's on offer?

• Ad hoc temporary position - flexible availability essential
• 12.71 per hour - paid weekly
• Overtime paid at 18.40 per hour for hours worked over 45 in a single week

As a Driver's Mate, your duties will include:

• Assisting with the delivery and transportation of goods to customer locations
• Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
• Providing a professional and courteous service directly to customers
• Supporting the driver with navigation and paperwork as required

To be considered as a Driver's Mate, you will need:

• A valid DBS/Disclosure certificate - essential
• Good physical fitness due to the manual nature of the role
• Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-facing manner
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
