Overview Lead Site Reliability Engineer (SRE Squad Lead) based in Darlington, County Durham, North East, UK. This is a Full time opportunity (£80,000). Responsibilities * Provide technical leadership and mentorship to an SRE squad, guiding engineering practices to improve reliability, availability, latency, and scalability of digital services. * Lead incident management, post-incident reviews, and continuous improvement of reliability engineering processes. * Collaborate with DevOps, cloud platforms, security, and product teams to design and implement secure, scalable cloud-based solutions. * Contribute to capacity planning, performance tuning, and automation to reduce toil and improve system resilience. * Communicate effectively with stakeholders and translate business needs into technical roadmaps. Qualifications * Proven experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps leadership, or equivalent. * Strong experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP), containerization, orchestration, and CI/CD pipelines. * Demonstrated ability to lead engineers, manage priorities, and work in a fast-paced environment. * Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills. * Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom and location-based requirements. #J-18808-Ljbffr
